Episode 82: Processing The Transitions Of Motherhood with Laura Spencer

In this episode we talk with Laura Spencer about processing the transitions of motherhood, learning to understand ourselves more, and figure out what we truly need in postpartum. With so many shifts and changes occurring in our lives as we enter motherhood it can become a very challenging time in out lives.

We talk about the contradicting emotions that come up like how you can love your baby but you’re also burned out and are frustrated with them. We acknowledge how we all may be entering motherhood but it brings up different things for each of us and things surface differently for all of us.

She goes on to point out that we all deserve to process these emotions on our own time and how she is able to hold a space for moms to be able to get the most out of this precious time.

This episode helps remind us that there is support, there are others who have felt similar emotions you might be having, there are people who can guide you and help you navigate these moments, there are those that want to help you process these feelings and hold that space for you, and you are being introduced to a time in your life that you have never experienced before.
